Competitive rates of pay with hour building opportunities, rating advancement and type crossover sponsorship for the right candidate.

Due to recent expansion, a busy customer-base, and despite winter approaching, Cambridge Aero Club has a vacancy for a full time salaried Flight Instructor position, as well as two freelance Flight Instructor positions. Mainly teaching PPL students with possible progression to IR(R) or tailwheel and aerobatics. The salaried position would also offer support to the Safety Manager.

Cambridge Aero Club is a thriving ATO, operating a mixed fleet of exceptionally well equipped Cessna172SPs, Piper Warrior III, Cessna152 and Extra200 from its base at Cambridge Airport.

Cambridge Aero Club

Huge Congratulations to Mark today who Aced his skills test with examiner Adam Boyle in trusty NB! ✨🎉👏 Mark said of his path to aviation: “Being a pilot has always been a lifelong career goal of mine, so during 2020, I took the plunge and joined Cambridge aero club. It’s the Best decision I have made and I have loved every second of my training, the staff and instructors at the Aeroclub could not have been more helpful in seeing me through to passing, and gaining my private pilots license. Thank you to all involved and I can’t wait to start the next phase”
Aw thanks Mark! It’s been a pleasure and we to look forward to your next adventure!

🚨Air Cadet Wins Scholarship🚨 👇👇

We are very excited and proud to see that Cadet Sergeant Georgia Pescod, from 104 (City of Cambridge) Squadron, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Wing ATC, has won a sought-after scholarship with the British Women Pilots' Association.

This scholarship, valued at £15,000, was applied for by young women aged 17-24 from across the country. Georgia seriously impressed the panel and managed to secure the scholarship. As a result, Georgia will receive full pilot training at the Cambridge Aero Club.

Georgia has also recently been appointed as a Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for Cambridgeshire, so we have no doubt she’ll be kept very busy over the next few months!

We are very proud of you, Georgia! 🎉 Congratulations to you and good luck in your pilot training this summer! 🤞
