So long to our Flying Legends GA visitors!

It’s been a busy few days at Cambridge Aero Club and GA Centre! With Duxford Imperial War Museum having its annual Flying Legends Air Show. We have been welcoming visitors from across Europe for what turned out to be a fabulous weekend, which also marked the 100th anniversary of the RAF.

It’s fair to say we had an eclectic mix of pilots who were all in high spirits ready for the big display!

So all that remains to say is Au Revoir, Auf Wiedersehen and Vaarwel! ..Until next time, happy flying! 🙂

Does this sound like a challenge you'd like to take on? 🏃✈️

Just one week left to join the Aero Club team and sign up for Aviation Action's Run the Runways challenge! Run a different runway every day of December and raise awareness and funds for the great work they do supporting mental health in aviation.

It's been a hard year for the industry and we think this is such a commendable initiative.

If you don't fancy running, would you consider supporting this cause by donating to Aviation Action?

Lets get those #MondayMinds moving! Here's a revision question from the Meteorology ground exam. As usual - multiple-guess and no cheating!!
Q a VOLMET broadcast is:
1: a recorded broadcast of the METAR for a specific airfield
2: a special ATC broadcast, to all aircraft on frequency, of a significant change in weather conditions
3: a voluntary met report
4: a recorded broadcast of 10 METARS for airfields mostly in a specific region
