Aircraft and Prices

Our mixed fleet of expertly maintained, modern and well equipped Cessna Aircraft.

Modern and well equipped

We recognise that you want top quality training and given the choice, you’d rather do your flying in modern, well equipped machines!

All our aircraft meticulously maintained by light aircraft specialists with no expense spared. Our varied fleet consists of three impeccable refurbished Cessna 152’s (including our newly acquired Aerobat GBFRV), two Cessna 172’s (both digital and 'steam guage') and our higher end, variable prop Cessna 182 GORDM.

Aircraft specs

Our Cessna 152's are nifty little 2-seaters, ideal for hour building at a more affordable rate.

They are all newly refurbished, two of which having a Garmin GNC255 NAV/COMM linked to Garmin G5s with HSI functionality. They are also equipped with a Garmin GTX335 ADS-B out transponder and an Aero 660 GPS.

What's more, our newly acquired Aerobat GBFRV offers an opportunity for an Intro to Aerobatics for PPL holders.

Why spend more flying a larger aircraft when GCLNA, GCLNB and GBFRV will do the job nicely and for significantly less?!

Cessna 152 Profile.jpg

Both comfortable and reliable, the Cessna 172 Skyhawk has long been a trusted trainer. The most popular single-engine ever built, this high wing 4-seater also serves our solo hirers well for that trip to the coast!

We have both the traditional 'steam gauge' option in GSHWK and a glass cockpit in GHERC (Digital display, Maps, fully Airways compliant, Garmin 430 GNS) suited to IFR training.

The jewel in our fleet, GORDM is a high spec modern day variant of the original C182T 'Skylane' with variable pitch propeller. Sought after as a perfect cruiser for those longer trips in real comfort and style.

GORDM boasts impressive NAV and GPS systems, with dual Garmin nav comms, ADF and HSI together with Bendix King KLN GPS with superb moving map.
